A wedding band that travels well
Taking a band abroad is easy. Taking the sound abroad is the hard part, it's also the part most bands leave to chance. Kinmara travels with its own highly experienced live sound engineer, a full-time member of the band who's worked with David Gilmour and Phil Manzenera, which means your destination wedding gets the same production standard as our UK shows: we source and spec the PA, backline and any crew (if required) locally, or bring what can't be hired, and we handle the technical conversation with your venue so you never have to worry about what a DI box is.
We've brought the full Kinmara lineup to weddings in Sorrento, Cyprus, France and Spain and between us, our members have performed at events far beyond that.
How it works, end to end
From first enquiry to the last song of the night, the logistics sit with us.
1. Enquiry
Tell us your date, destination, and venue. Because overseas pricing is bespoke, we prepare your quote individually rather than through the calculator.
2. Logistics plan
We build a plan for your destination and talk to your venue about stage and power requirements, so nothing is discovered on the day.
3. Local hire or transport
We decide together what to hire locally, such as PA and backline, and what travels with us. Either way, our own sound engineer specs and signs it off.
4. On the day
We arrive, set up, and run the production ourselves. Your venue deals with us directly on anything technical.

Kinmara is a folk and indie pop band fronted by a singing fiddle player. Our first set starts with proper folk, fiddle-led, acoustic, the kind of sound that started in old barns and open air, then we shift into an indie pop party set for the rest of the night.
